We’re excited to announce the launch of our Can Tab Challenge to support Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC)! Starting today, we’re encouraging all Character Strong students to collect pull tabs from soda cans and other aluminum cans.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities is a non-profit organization that provides resources and support to families with seriously ill children who must travel far from home to access medical care. Their programs help reduce stress and financial burdens by offering a "home away from home" while families focus on their child's treatment. The pull tabs we collect will be recycled, and RMHC will receive about 50 cents per pound to fund these vital programs.
At the end of February, we’ll send all the pull tabs to the Ronald McDonald House. In addition to supporting this great cause, there’s a little friendly competition to spice things up! The class that collects the most pull tabs will get to choose between a breakfast of burritos or donuts—a sweet reward for all your hard work!
